Ku TaeHwan
Praised by The New York Times for his “innately warm and resonant tenor.” Taehwan graduated from Yonsei University and earned a Master’s degree in Vocal Performance from the Manhattan School of Music on a full scholarship. He further developed his operatic training in the Junge Oper Program at the Hannover State Opera.
Internationally, Ku has performed at major venues including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and the United Nations Headquarters, and has appeared on WQXR. He has worked in the United States as a contracted tenor with Martha Wade Management.
Selected as the first Tenor Soloist of the National Opera of Korea, Ku continues to perform widely. Recent roles include Rinuccio in Gianni Schicchi (2023–2024), Nemorino in L’elisir d’amore, and Alfredo in La Traviata (2024–2025). In 2025, he is scheduled to perform Cavaradossi in Tosca.
